The serving sizes were sooooo worth the price! They really pack as much as they can into the takeout packages (our duck container couldn’t close properly because it was so full). The food was great quality as well! The meat was a little dry but it was delicious and complimented the recommended sauces beautifully.

This is my go to store but tonight was not a good night. They weren't busy my order was the only one. The honey chicken is burnt the honey has a horrible burnt taste. The rice has no flavour and is soft and mushy. Beef is ok the very chewy.i was realy looking forward to this meal . Such a disappointment and waste of money.

It is extremely sad to see a 20-year old restaurant run by a chef whose experience in Chinese Food spans 4 decades, closing down just because of the impact of Covid. If you crave for real, authentic classic chinese food in a nice quite ambience, where you want to sit, relax and enjoy your wine and then your dinner for a couple of hours, then this is the place to be. Loved the food and everything else about it. Only the fact that they have been struggling for a few years because of Covid shows in furniture and cutlery, etc. But good people of Mitcham, Belair, Blackwoodand surrounds, if there was ever a Mum and Pop business you ought to support, this is it. Come one and all, let's bring this business back to how it was pre-covid times.

Went for mid week family dinner. Only one other table occupied all evening. Service was fine, just one staff member who was friendly and attentive.
We ordered a banquet. Unfortunately the food was very average. Starters were dim sim, spring rolls and curry puff. Roll and curry puff were OK. Dim sim had been fried to within an inch of it's life, not so much light and crisp, more oily crunchy.
Mains were similarly disappointing. In dishes with sauce, it was very 'gluggy', way too much cornflour or whatever thickener they were using. The sweet and sour pork had also been overfried, leaving a somewhat crunchy tasteless offering, that had the consistency of jerky.
It's not inexpensive either, at $35 per head. I personally would not choose to eat there again.
